ArchiV - ANR project - 2019-2024

Genetic architecture of quantitative traits in plant-virus interactions: Consequences for the management of resistant and/or tolerant varieties at the landscape scale

  • Funding: French National Research Agency (ANR) ANR-18-CE32-0004
  • Project: ArchiV deals with quantitative resistance and tolerance to viruses in plants, with pepper as a biological model. It aims at measuring these two traits and mapping the corresponding genes in the pepper genome and estimating their durability potential. Modelling approaches will allow defining the best strategies of deployment of these resistances and tolerances in the field (pyramiding resistance and/or tolerance genes, cultivar rotations, mosaics or mixtures).
