Doing an internship

As part of their research training mission, scientists in the Plant pathology unit are involved in teaching and training through research.

In addition to teaching at universities in France and abroad, the scientists in the Plant Pathology unit supervise trainees at various levels (PhD or lower), from French and foreign institutions.

  • For all interns, an agreement must be signed between INRAE, the student and its teaching institute;
  • An internship allowance may be granted under certain conditions (duration of the internship and level of study);
  • INRAE Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur center in Avignon has some accommodation to facilitate short-term stays for students benefiting from an agreement with INRAE;
  • For lunches, a company restaurant is available in the St-Paul domain of the INRAE Avignon center located at 4 kilometers from our unit. Transport between the two domains is provided once a day. A partial subsidy on meals may be granted, subject to conditions.

Applications

  • Applications for internships must be justified. It is therefore advisable to familiarize yourself with the research themes of the Plant pathology unit, by consulting the unit's publications.
  • Your letter must mention the host laboratory in which you wish to carry out an internship, as well as the theme.
  • Your letter will be accompanied by a Curriculum Vitae
